Youth Council of the U.S. Embassy in North Macedonia The Youth Council empowers young people in Macedonia by providing a platform for ideas, projects and more. It also has an advisory role to the US Embassy. To celebrate International Women’s Day in 2013, the U.S. Embassy held a networking event to support women’s entrepreneurship. USAID works to ensure that Macedonia’s women have the opportunities and resources necessary to play strong leadership roles, and we support programs that increase and improve opportunities for entrepreneurship as a tool for economic growth.
Ivana Jodanovska, a member of the Youth Council, talked about the experiences of a young entrepreneur, and said that sometimes our biggest obstacles are our own mindsets.
