Let’s talk about…Movember! The Youth Council of the US Embassy Macedonia, MMSA(Macedonian Medical Students’ Association) and Movember Macedonia are hosting an event in order to raise awareness concerning the issues of men’s health.
Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide.The goal of Movember is to “change the face of men’s health.
By encouraging men to get involved, Movember aims to increase early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatments, and ultimately reduce the number of preventable deaths.
The event will take place on the 27th of November (Monday) at the main amphitheater of the Medical Faculty “St.Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje beginning 12 P.M.
Join us for a lecture by D-r.Sotir Stavridis, urologist in the State Clinic of Urology in Skopje, with whom we will tackle men’s health issues together.
