Youth Council of the U.S. Embassy in North Macedonia The Youth Council empowers young people in Macedonia by providing a platform for ideas, projects and more. It also has an advisory role to the US Embassy. “They say that in life we only have a few chances to make choices that are defining. I believe that one of these decisions came way too early for me. When I was 15, I was given the choice of continuing to play soccer or giving it all up to go to an international high school. To this day, I still do not know if I made the right choice, but I know I have a long way to go until I answer that question”
