“I am 26 years old and I am from Shtip. Ever since my early years, my favorite toy was an improvised microphone. I wanted to become a journalist. When I grew up and the time came to decide what to choose as my education, a very close and dear person to me said: “You cannot be a journalist, you haven’t read enough books to work in that profession”. I was discouraged and changed my mind. I enrolled in a faculty that I still haven’t finished. But, people say: “Be careful what you wish for, it may come true”. I accidently found a job in a company that owns a media outlet and my wish eventually came true. Now, my only goal is to share inspiring and positive news. Today, we hear about these kind of news the least!”

About Youth Council of the U.S Embassy in North Macedonia

The Youth Council brings together youth from different disciplines, interests, ethnicities and religious backgrounds. Established by the U.S. Embassy in Skopje, it seeks to generate creative ideas and projects to empower the youth of Macedonia, and to strengthen the voice of youth by advising the Embassy on important youth issues.
