Youth Council of the U.S. Embassy in North Macedonia The Youth Council empowers young people in Macedonia by providing a platform for ideas, projects and more. It also has an advisory role to the US Embassy. “I am graduating from university this year. Two weeks ago I had my last exam. I am happy that four years of daily commuting to Skopje are finally coming to an end. It is time to find a job now, but I won’t look for it in Skopje. I cannot run away from where I belong. Veles is my city and I am staying here!”
