Youth Council of the U.S. Embassy in North Macedonia The Youth Council empowers young people in Macedonia by providing a platform for ideas, projects and more. It also has an advisory role to the US Embassy.
Every June, Pride Month is celebrated in order to acknowledge all the contributions by the LGBTQI+ and with that to cultivate diversity and inclusion. Even though the world shut down last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Youth Council was creative enough to come up with a different style of celebration of Pride Month. Being faced with uncertainty and with limited physical contact, our members gathered to show support via shooting the glorious video below. Always celebrate love and friendship!
